seimeinotakaAmnesia has been a wild ride. Between murders and magical eyes, cages and inexplicably huge amounts of psychopaths lurking in every single goddamned route, I don't know what to expect anymore. There are only two routes left: Clover and Joker.
I'll be honest, the writing itself has been of a roller coaster, a badly designed one because at times it drags, at other times it doesn't and it's full of weird shit that I just shrug and plan a trip to burn down the Otomate building. Every route proved itself to be too plain or to LOL WHAT DID YOU JUST DO that I didn't even know how this would end. After going through three, I was just going for the last two, praying to baby Jesus for the Clover one to be as good as people said and in hopes it would and...
FUCKING CHRISTMAS BABY
In all honesty, all the other routes can suck it because I wasn't even 20 minutes into the actual route and I was sold, which is why I am doing this because Kent deserves it.
And I hope the game doesn't betray me OH MY GOD PLEASE.
So, strap in for an actual thing close to an LP though it's more shitty commentary and LOL CAPS because I have a fuck ton already. To make things clear, I'm going blind for this, no guide, no reloading except like 3 instances and just as I go. Pure gut-feeling. Also warning, this route is around 400% smarter than the other routes combined for specific things that make a HUGE DIFFERENCE. In fact, these are so great I'm glad I am playing Kent's route last because the snark on the others would be "BUT KENT'S ROUTE" "KENT". With that out of the way, let us begin.

08/01
The beginning is actually exactly as other routes, especifically Ikki's, with Ari waking up in her room and having to fish through her items to find any small clue about her previous amnesia-less life. It was practically the same except for two small details: First one, her phone is actually useful for once because it holds like +1000 contact info and I have to wonder WHO THE FUCK ARE THESE PEOPLE. Actually Orion comments Ari has phones like dentist and I'm assuming kindergarten teacher to make up for the obscene amount of numbers a phone can hold.
The second thing is Ari has messages! In Trash's route, the phone was evidence so Ari got a new one, in Ikki's she had got a different one because of the bullying. It got broken in Shin's, so all of them had the wonderful amount of zero but here we have messages!
Except this is Amnesia we're talking about so we have the magnificent amount of 5.
And they all are similar to:

Orion says something about how all of the messages come from the same person but they are just so devoid of feelings because of the mechanical nature of them. He is not so pleased because "Good night" isn't very telling, but hey, Kent could just be shit at writing messages and behold:
For once, the game is on my same wavelength and I actually used that answer because I can relate. I'm personally bad at this messaging thing and from what I've seen, Kent seems to be the kind of smart idiot and they usually are bad at this communication thing.
Coincidentially, Kent texts Ari, asking to meet with her at Meido no Hitsugi to discuss about something, implying a previous argument. An argument we coincidentially DO NOT REMEMBER because as Orion said, ANYTHING other than autonomous functions and somehow speaking have been wiped off Ari's hard drive. Ok, she does remember to make her bed, but that's enough of skills. Talking to Kent might be valuable because Ari can get her memories back through interaction, there is just one tiny, very smol problem.
Where the fuck is this cafe? I mean I know but Ari in this route doesn't. There is no Shin or Toma to take care of Ari that are aware of her amnesia nor an Ikki we can just trick into teaching us the route. It's just Orion, Ari and

Why is this the first time the EASIEST TOOL is even brought up? In none of the other routes anyone even thought of using the internet to IDK, search for locations? Now that I'm at it, I assume Orion doesn't know what Twitter is because he only suggested emails in Toma's route and they never tried to find info about Ari in her social media sites, BUT WHATEVER, the routes were dumb. And honestly, Kent is all about PRACTICALITY.
For once, Ari needs not to rely on anyone and she just GOOGLES the direction. She has no clue where she lives, so she goes outside to find an address and then voila. Actually she could just use the GPS function but it works.
I know, the use of technology is shocking.
Ari arrives at MtH (because I can't be assed to write the long name) in one piece, not getting lost or anything and decides to sit around because asking for Kent might be just awkward, especially if she asks the man itself. This, doesn't go unnoticed, and Kent approaches Ari, but luckily for everyone, Kent just assumes she is angry and just pretended to be dismissive because of their past argument.
Now, Kent is blunt and a bit of a honest brute but he has something that is good:
He constantly tells Ari to speak up her mind. As in if there's something she's angry, upset, pissed, enraged, you know, the type of things the stereotypical woman will shut up about. This is commendable, a relationship is about communication, trust, understanding and all that crap except for the tiny fact that we remember nothing!

Kent goes on about the things he wants to talk about that we're absolutely in the dark about it.
I'd do but I can't recall anything other than my name and the things that just happened an hour ago, so... However, that doesn't cut it and he makes a comment about how she is just keeping quiet because she knows she'll argue with him and he'll counter her points and she'll lose the discussion, so clearly the smart option is to keep quiet.
GOD THAT FACE JUST KILLS ME. I'm glad I'm not in the game or I'd have laughed so hard he'd have gotten upset.
ANYWAY Kent is like "If you know you'll lose why don't you just apologize?!" There are two options, one that obviously increases a stat if you can see where the issue is going and another one.

:D I cracked at his reaction because he is just out of his mind that she said the words "I'm" and "sorry" in a same, affirmative sentence, though it is also the sad kind of reaction once you realize that Ari was so proud she just never backed off a fight, even less, apologized for anything that happened. Of course, this increases the shit out of suspicion and not exactly the type of answer we want to give if we want to keep a low profile, so the dick SUSH IT answer it is :Y

In case anyone forgot, Kent is a Maths Graduate student and he just loves Maths, something about those round numbers and equations just get deep into a man's heart, I know. We know from Ikki's route that he makes problems for Ikki to solve. This isn't just related to it. Kent says that if Ari can solve a problem, he'll pay for their drinks. If not, they'll split the total. Ari solves it and thankfully because I was wondering if she had actually brought money to this place.
Orion does comment that Kent is considerably older than Ari, who is just a first year University student. He wonders where they met and the answer he gives?
I like how Orion has his priorities damn straight.
Eventually, Ari and Orion go walk with Kent. By walk, I mean constantly running a marathon because Kent walks at Usain Bolt pace and Ari can't catch up. He goes around the place, without a single word until they reach her house. He asks if she wants to do something. Ari and Orion assume he just walked her home, so she thanks him.
But this is Kent, so he's like What are you talking about? A friend of his suggested he walked with her but he sees no point in such action. Next time I meet Ikki, I'll kindly ask him to not only give advice but explain the reasoning about it. :Y With that said, Kent leaves.

Actually, there's more to it already. From what it seems, Ari and Kent's relationship is falling apart because they keep arguing about things. A little after Kent leaves, he textes Ari about the morning texts. Ari seemed upset about them, perhaps IDK because they seemed to be done by some automaton I figure, so he asks about them. Ari just goes on that he should keep doing them, though Kent is surprised because she seemed pissed about them in the past.
Now, the way I see this goes like this:
Kent is an idiot, the social-relationship clueless kind of idiot. As one, he does things his own way and needs reason and logic to do things. If he sees no need to do something, he won't do it. Now, Ari probably wanted a loving relationship, one with cute details and greetings and sappy sacharine XOXOs and the like, so she asks him to do that but doesn't exactly explain the reasoning or the way he should do it. Something around the lines of "I'd like you to greet me everyday" but there's no mention of "but please do it in the sappiest way possible!". Hence you get messages as warming as Antartica. She gets upset and will be vague about her issue which in turn goes into their arguments. Now, at this point, Kent is used to talking to Ari = DISCUSSING so she will complain about something, then he will say "But you said I did something, so I did", so it in a way counters her actual complain but not entirely because there are things Ari is upset about that she doesn't bring up because I assume she thought he knew already. Therefore, we have a huge communication mess. But there is hope.
08/02
Ari and Orion find some strange circles in some days of her calendar, which conveniently has her schedule as opposed to other routes. They have no clue what they stand for because Ari has no other note of it for the small instance she would become amnesiac and need this vital information, how fucking rude pre-amnesia Ari. Kent phones her and asks if she'll go to his house since she has a day off her work. Now, because of AMNESIA, Ari has no clue to get there because you can't excatly google "Kent's house" and pray it will give an answer. Furthermore, SHE FUCKING WORKS and you can't google that either, though they can assume the circles imply work days.
This calls for some hilarious bad excuse to put a meeting point so that he takes her there and goes to his house. She "wants him to walk her to her work". Kent is confused because they were there yesterday (of course she always works at MnH) and why???. Thankfully, he assumes she forgot something and made up an excuse. Luckily, Ari will then say that she just wanted to go there because she didn't feel confident about her work. Kent will just suggest to ask for the manual and study it and- THIS FUCKING PLACE HAD A MANUAL????

This is the first time I hear of this because in Ikki's route, Waka had spartan training course and Ikki having to teach her again, in Shin's route he taught her beforehand and in Trash's route, she spent 80% of her time in a cage to go to work so...

Waka is surprised at it at first but since Ari is an eternal klutz in all worlds, she had previously messed up, so he thinks she is asking for it to improve her skills and not just relearn everything because lol I forgot everything because a spirit is freeloading in my mind. After this, Ari goes back to her house and meets Kent and

After his face-to-face talk with the pole, Kent takes Ari to his house, after she is OK with going to a man's house to do nightful sinning in the middle of chilly insane August. But it's Kent, Math-obsessed and pure at heart, so there's no chance for any action (yet).
Kent's house is hilarious.
He has little tags like this on things which is a very amusing way of organizing things and somehow makes him more endearing to me. He is also pretty shit at this boyfriend-girlfriend thing because he just has Ari sit down as he works on something and doesn't talk or anything. Orion is upset about this because he expected Kent to IDK DO SOMETHING with Ari, but there's nothing they can do and Ari can use this time to read the manual and get ready for work. Ari has two days off including 08/02 before her next shift so she should get ready before work.
Since she studies so hard, they don't realize it's nightime and of course no action. Kent is surprised that Ari isn't pissed at him because I assume pre-amnesia Ari would complain that she was just left alone. He also ponders that she's been acting strange since yesterday but it's not like we can just say HEY I JUST FORGOT ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING! At this point, I give Shin props for being the only one to figure out this shit in like two days.
